The Aorangi Open was played at the Tinwald Golf course on Sunday. The course was in outstanding condition which was resembled in the great scoring.
With other events clashing with the Open this year, the field was down slightly on the previous year but the quality was still extremely high.

The World Handicap System - Player Resources
Resources for players for the 2020 launch of The World Handicap System. The World Handicap System (WHS) from January 2020 will provide golfers with a unified and more inclusive handicapping system for the first time.

Though many countries adopted the new system in January, the system will go live in other parts of the world throughout the year to accommodate different implementation plans and variations in the golfing calendar.

The Waitangi Day 2020 tournament was held at the very well presented Ashburton club with a turn out of 66 players.
The day was run very well by the Ashburton Match Committee, thank you very much.
The winners of the Waitangi Shield was Tinwald with 209 points followed by Ashburton on 205. The Tinwald Team consisted of M Bennett,B Harris,S Lane C Miller, A Barrie,B Collins .
The Captains Cup was won by Terry Kingsbury.
The Presidents Trophy was won by Cam Miller of Tinwald with 39 points.

Aorangi Masters 2020
3rd – 5th April Clarks Beach Auckland
To be considered for the 2020 Masters team the following is guidance for selection.
There is an expectation of players to play some of the following tournaments in Aorangi & Canterbury.
All scores should be put in hole by hole please.
Any other games that are played outside of these tournaments could players please advise selector, Anne Seed on the conditions etc of the game.
Anne will also be looking at all scores input on Dot Golf.
