We are seeking a sport capability and development professional with excellent facilitation and communication skills for a Timaru based role that covers the Aorangi Golf district of Mid and South Canterbury.
The Community Golf Manager will be responsible for providing club capability services and golf development initiatives to the Aorangi Golf region. The attached job description outlines the role and required skills in more detail.
The role will work out of an office based at Sport South Canterbury in Timaru. This environment will provide appropriate support services from like-minded people working in the sports sector.
Although working independently, the role will have close relationships with other development roles involved in the Mainland Golf Partnership that encompasses the mid and upper South Island – the Canterbury Golf Development Manager, the Tasman Community Golf Manager, and the New Zealand Golf Club Capability Manager. This team will work in harmony to provide club capability and golf development services
across the Mainland region.
