The Final of the Women's 18 Hole Silver Pennant was played at Geraldine Golf Cub on Thursday culminating in a very exciting match between Mayfield and Gleniti with three of the singles going to the 18th hole.
Both teams won 3 matches each at the end of 18 holes and an extra sudden death hole was played in which Jan Clucas sunk the final putt to give the Mayfield team, from left Glenys Carr, Judy Webb, Jan Clucas and Christine Ross the win and back-to-back titles, retaining the title they won last year, which was a great effort..
