The NZ Women’s Masters is being played at the Methven Golf Club 31 March to 3 April. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the event and sees Methven Golf Club, which was the original venue once again host this event in 2016. Fourteen provinces from throughout New Zealand are represented with four women in each team who are over the age of 40. The format for the event is gross stableford, with the best three scores counting from the team over the 72 hole event.
Thursday 31 March - Practice round and registration for teams. Opening ceremony and dinner which will include original team members from the inaugural event.
Friday 1 April - Round one of the tournament. Some of the Masters players from the inaugural event will head out to play 9 holes following the tournament players. Following round one will be a commemorative cake cutting with a shootout competition.
Saturday 2 April - Round 2 & 3 of the tournament.
Sunday 3 April - Round 4 of the tournament with prize giving at the completion of play.
