Selection Policy

2017 Women's Masters

The NZ Women's Masters will be held at the Ngaruawahia Golf Club in Hamilton 31 March - 2 April.  The team will depart on 29 March returning on 2 April.

The format for the tournament is gross stableford with the best 3 gross stables counting for the team score.

Friday 31 March - 18 Holes
Saturday 1 April - 36 Holes
Sunday 2 April - 18 Holes

Eligibility for Selection

• The selection for Canterbury Representative Teams is open to New Zealand Citizens and Permanent New Zealand Residents whose handicap is administered by a member club of Canterbury Golf.  Non New Zealand Citizens/Permanent Residents may apply in writing to Canterbury Golf for dispensation to be available for selection for Canterbury representative teams.
• Comply with the NZ Golf Anti Doping Policy.
• Comply with the Aorangi Golf Representative Code of Conduct.
• Players must be 40 years of age by the first day of the NZ Women’s Masters Tournament.
• Players must have their home club in Canterbury at least three months prior to the event.

Selection Criteria

The following is a list of tournaments that those players who are interested in trialing for the Aorangi Masters teams should consider entering.  

The following criteria apply for those wanting to trial for the Aorangi Masters Team.

• A minimum of 5 tournaments/rounds in the list below must be played.
• At least one of the Canterbury tournaments to be played.
• Ideally play the Canterbury Stroke Play at the Templeton Golf Club 21/22 January (online entries available on the canterbury website.
• All gross stableford scores to recorded and email to Anne Seed.
• If any other national or provincial tournaments are played.  Please notify Anne Seed with the gross stableford scores and tournament details.
