Best Nett individual pair – not in the winning team – Methven LGU Cup
Silver buttons presented for the winners no other trophies

Association Foursomes
Best Gross 36 holes championship for the Stafford Family Trays.
Other prizes on the day.

Veterans Tournament
18 hole tournament open to all players 50 years and over.  Enter in age groups: 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
Clarkson Salver - Best Gross score 65 years and over.  This Trophy can only be won by a player affiliated to ASC
.
Hedges Kennard Trophy - Best gross over the field.
In the event of a tie for this or the Clarkson Salver, they are to be held jointly except if  3 or more players tie, there will be a sudden death play off.
Best gross over the field and the Clarkson Salver can be won by the same person but not both prizes.

Millenium Salver – Canterbury  v  Aorangi South Canterbury
To be played between the two Associations, venue to alternate between the two districts.
A team of 24 players.   Each club in the district should be represented.   A player and reserves names, addresses and telephone numbers plus handicaps to be sent to the ASC Secretary.    Representatives to be chosen at the discretion of the Club Captain, preferably in Silver division but handicaps can be out to 20.4
18 hole aggregate stableford
Current Inter-provincial Players excluded.

Weekend Womens Tournament 
J.E. Templer Trophy 18 hole Tournament only to be won by a full or part time worker who designate the weekend as their primary competition day.
Tournament open to all women.

9 Hole Trophy  (engraved glass)
Mid week 9 hole tournament open to all 9 hole golfers
Best Nett over the field for the trophy, two grades  0-27 and 27+

9 Hole Trophy  (wooden)
Weekend 9 hole tournament.  Conditions same as above.

Masters Tournament
Team Stableford.  Teams of four, 3 scores to count on each hole.

REPRESENTATIVE EVENTS
Templer Trophy
Match between the Canterbury Association and Aorangi South Canterbury
Teams to comprise of 12 players  Representative trialist.
36 hole match play.  Morning  round No 1 plays No 2, reverse in afternoon
This event is held at Ashburton golf course.  Each Association pays own expenses.
Annual Quadrangular Tournament   (Barbara Langley Quadrangular Trophy)
District Team participants:   Southland, Otago,  A/South Canterbury and Canterbury
Teams of eight (8).
Hosted alternate years by Otago and A/South Canterbury at different courses.
To be played in September
The Tournament secretary will send out the posters when the hosting club provides the details of costs and contacts.   Posters to be sent out about 5 weeks before tournament.

In the event of a tie all association Trophies will be held jointly.

Results of events to be sent to Tournament Secretary, book to be filled in and returned to secretary with any profit.

All monies made in Association fixtures after expenses belong to Association.  (Clubs may run a raffle on the day and all monies kept by the hosting club)
