Pleasant Point is situated 18 km northwest of Timaru. It has
a population of about 1200. The course is always in good
condition due to the fact it has a reliable fairway watering
system which assists it greatly during the dry Canterbury
summers.
The course is a flat tree lined course with only two bunkers. It
is popular with many Timaru residents due to its lack of hills
and superb maintenance.
